Tire Removal
The demount head of the Mount/Demount Bar has a contour shape to lift the tire off the rim with minimal pressure on the wheel.
A plastic Delrin® protector on the demount head makes the demount head slide easy and protects your wheel from getting scratched.
Simply use one hand to pull the bar while your other hand is free to keep the tire in the relief valley of the wheel.
Tire Installation
Just like the demount head there is a plastic protector attached to the mount head so you don't have to worry about damaging your wheels.
The Mount/Demount Bar is also designed to work clockwise or counter-clockwise. So step up you lefties... we didn't forget about you.
The Mount/Demount Bar has a double-tube design which keeps the bar from twisting especially when the last few inches of the bead are going over the rim.
Since you only need one hand on the Mount/Demount Bar your other hand is completely free to work the tire and keep it down in the relief valley of the wheel.
